Według Raportu specjalnego dotyczącego współpracy biznesu i edukacji w Polsce dla pracodawców [1] bardzo istotna jest m.in. umiejętność pracy w zespole. Wysoko cenią oni osoby, które potrafią realizować cele zespołowe, są otwarci na sugestie innych, dają i przyjmują informacje zwrotne, wzajemnie się motywują i wspólnie rozwiązują problemy. Dyrektorzy wiedzą, że te kompetencje miękkie mogą zaważyć na sukcesie lub porażce projektu. Nie są to jednak umiejętności, z którymi się rodzimy, lecz nabywamy je z czasem. NUADU wspiera współpracę i pracę zespołową wśród uczniów.
Dotychczasowy model kształcenia uczniów był w Polsce mocno nastawiony na pracę indywidualną – każdy uczeń pracował na swoje oceny w szkole i w domu. W rezultacie młody człowiek czasem dopiero w pierwszej pracy rozwijał w większym stopniu umiejętności i postawy tak cenne w oczach pracodawcy: współpracę i pracę zespołową.
